Our kids came to us today with grand plans to share a room. Never mind the fact that we moved from a two-bedroom town home to a three-bedroom house 2 1/2 years ago specifically so they wouldn’t have to share a room. You see, this all started a few weeks ago when Ethan, for no apparent reason to us began having terrible tantrums at night when it was time for bed. We would do the normal night-time routine: hugs, kisses, lights off–and then the screaming would start. He would shout all kinds of crazy things like, “I’m never sleeping again!” and “I’m sleeping in the hallway!” When he discovered that his screams and yells were falling on the deaf ears of his parents, he would crawl into bed with his sister.
